Do you have worries about the pain of birth? Has this worry shifted to fear or foreboding? That’s not something to push under the rug, it needs to be seen for what it is and understood. Ignored, fear has a way of limiting ones potential, not just mentally and emotionally but physically. The physiological effects of fear sometimes present as tension and stress, this impacts the whole body and reduces your ability to open and make space for baby.
Pregnancy is an opportunity to get to know your fears, which can benefit from body work and mindfulness. Yoga informed practices can enable the opposite experience to become possible. You can soften and you can open. Your body is wise and natural instincts, inherent within your being, exist and are ready to be tapped into to birth your baby.
Deepak Chopra’s wisdom is here for you to lean into.
“Fear of pain has resulted in many women losing sight of birth as normal and natural, and of themselves as powerful and capable. Labour is an opportunity for women to learn about themselves and discover the strength and wisdom inherent in their bodies”
~ Deepak Chopra
