Explore the power of manifest…

You hear ‘manifestation’ and ‘intention setting’ thrown around a lot in conversations… especially at this time, when the year is new and fresh and the lightness of sunny summer days stretches out in front of you.  

But do you ever wonder how to set an intention that will be meaningful? And how do you make it stick?

There’s a piece missing here around tapping into what you really need for this pregnancy, this moment in motherhood and this part of your life journey. A little support and some guidance to master this skill would be useful…right?

Today’s blog provides three simple steps to get you started and prepare yourself to explore the power of manifest through a short guided practice. Be guiding through a set of questions targeted towards, firstly, letting go of things you no longer need. Then a shift of focus to a set of questions that calling in your unlimited potential, providing an opportunity to write your unique script and manifest from a place of inner resourcefulness and clarity of mind.

The power of manifest is available to all people and requires three simple steps to get you started. 

Firstly, find yourself in a place that is free of distraction. It can be useful to connect with nature to support your body and mind to become more at ease and slip into a state of calm and peacefulness. If you need to move yourself to this place and carve out the time you need right now.

Secoundly, make your body comfortable and take the time to come into a comfortable seat on the ground or in a chair. Allow all places that connect to the surface beneath you to become heavy and allow yourself to be held by the supports beneath you and by the Mother Earth. Then shift your face to the length of your spine creating a long line of energy form the base of the spine and wondering attention along each vertebrae and up and out through the crown of head. As you do this allow lightness and lifting to be energetically felt along your spine. 

Thirdly, release judgement of yourself in this moment and allow your thoughts to come and go. You may have heard the analogy before of your thoughts becoming like clouds and you can watch these floating into your awareness and floating out. As you practice allowing thoughts to arise and dissipate more freely, you begin to cultivate an ability to train your focus. Your focus in this moment is on noticing each thought as it comes and goes and, simultaneously releasing the urge to drill down into a thought. 

If you do start to drill into a thought, unpacking it, turning it over, this attention will make the thought grow and expand in your conscious awareness. This will likely happen as you are learning this new or evolving skill. When this occurs, notice if you start to scold yourself for going off track…this is the time to pull back mentally from being too hard on yourself. Instead, mindfully make the choice to be kinder to yourself and curious with where you are at today, in this moment along your journey to training your focus and power to manifest. 

Now you are ready in your mind, body and spirit to explore your present state of being and receive guidance and wisdom to bring into your life. As the insights come up you can choose to pay attention with your focus and build the intentions into manifestations that will translate into your being and into your daily life. 

To call in intentions you may ask yourself some questions to get you started… as you ask the questions sit with them, in this calm space and clear mind that you have created… and as your answer comes up let it guide you in what you need…

Sometimes your answer will arise as a thought, other times it will be a physical feeling or sensation in the body, it may even be more subtle and come to you in the form of light. There may be different colours showing up behind the eyes or around the body. You may also experience visions or emotional release. Sometimes you may sense that no answer has come up, if this happens that’s ok and can mean that allowing the question to be your answer may be enough today. Know that whatever comes up for you, in this moment, is all that you need right now. Allowing yourself to be at peace, soften your body and mind as we begin to call in intentions through a set of guiding questions. Journey along and explore from a place of openness.

Letting go of things I no longer need ~

What am I holding on to that I no longer need? Is there a way of being that I am stuck with in some way that doesn’t reflect how I want to show up in the world? What is this loop of thought, reaction or action that I am perpetuating in my life that I would like to release? Or is there a fear or block that is holding me back?

Explore all that comes up. Turn it over in your mind, body and soul welcoming the insights to be known, felt and seen. 

Then shift your focus to the version of yourself that you would be if you were to release and let go. What would this version of yourself look like, feel like, sound like and act like? Immerse yourself in this version of yourself, free of the baggage that is holding you back and not reflective of who you are and how you choose to be. Free of the layers you no longer need. Feel into the sensations of the body and notice how good this feels. 

Calling in your unlimited potential ~

What are my heartfelt passions? What dreams and aspirations light up my body and soul? In what areas of life do I need to speak my truth more freely? How will I choose to live my unlimited potential? 

Explore all that comes up. Turn it over in your mind, body and soul welcoming the insights to be known, felt and seen. 

Allow all insights to flow freely and notice each thought, feeling or vision. Encourage your insights to grow and expand in your awareness without restriction by attuning your focus, turning each one over to see it in its entirety. Maybe you feel the visceral response of your breath and heartbeat responding to your call to know and be the version of yourself that is aligned with your soul. Feel the joy and playfulness of this freedom as it washes through you. 

Finally, bring to minds eye clarity of light. Maybe you focus attention at third eye, the central place between your eyebrows. Stillness and focus here…as you cultivate a vision of all that you need to release and let go of….maybe there’s a word or a sentence that captures the essence of your vision. Repeat this to yourself two to three times and releasing and softening the body as you do so.

Then shift your focus to the version of yourself that knows your heartfelt passions and chooses to allow them to shine out into the world. Scribe a sentence in your mind that carries this version of you forward. Repeat this to yourself two to three times, allowing it to seep into your knowing of yourself at a felt level. Then choose to step forward with these two powerful statements and call on the power to manifest these into your being and into your life from this moment forward. 

You are powerful. Your intentions and manifestations can become your reality. May you feel a little lighter than when you set off. And may you be more attuned to what you need and choose to be the version of yourself that aligns with your soul potential. Shine brightly. You’ve got this.
